Senior Data Engineer (A)

Tasks

• Customise • Analyze large and complex datasets to generate business-critical insights and support data-driven decision making
• Design, develop and optimize data analytics solutions and reporting capabilities
• Build, maintain and enhance data pipelines using modern big data technologies
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners and technology teams to understand requirements and deliver analytical solutions
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across multiple data sources
• Support strategic data initiatives within a fast-paced trading and financial markets environment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical processes, methodologies and data platformsal conduct, strong risk discipline, and full regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in complex enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on expertise with Python and SQL
• Practical experience with Apache Spark, PySpark and/or Spark Streaming
• Experience working with Databricks
• Strong understanding of data modelling, data processing and large-scale data analytics
• Experience within Structured Products, Trading, Capital Markets or Investment Banking is advantageous
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English communication skills
