Senior Business Analyst (A) Market and Treasury Risk

Tasks

• Ensure dedicated coordination to identify and manage impacts on Market and Treasury Risk (MTR) within a bank-wide regulatory change programme
• Take full end-to-end ownership of MTR-related impacts across applications, EUCs, data flows, and control frameworks
• Act as the primary liaison between MTR stakeholders, programme teams, and technology units
• Gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into actionable specifications
• Coordinate cross-stream dependencies and ensure alignment across multiple workstreams
• Support and drive system and data changes within risk platforms (e.g., Murex, Calypso)
• Oversee testing activities, including planning and execution of end-to-end testing efforts
• Identify risks, gaps, inefficiencies, and inconsistencies in processes and proactively initiate improvements
• Prepare high-quality presentations and reports for senior stakeholders

Requirements

• Completed degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Market and Treasury Risk processes and associated regulatory requirements
• Hands-on experience with risk data, risk systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso), and downstream control environments
• Proven experience working across systems, data flows, and enterprise-level architecture
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and coordinate across multiple teams
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and system interactions
• Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Ability to consolidate diverse requirements, manage dependencies, and drive testing activities
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear insights
• Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and delivery focus
• Full professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
