Senior Performance Test Engineer (A)

Tasks

• Design, develop, and execute performance tests for internal applications and systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain synthetic monitors.
• Define and maintain test environments, methodologies, and automation strategies.
• Ensure a high?quality, stable, and maintainable test setup across the entire test lifecycle.
• Create clear, insightful, and decision?relevant test and monitoring reports.
• Review code for performance tests and synthetic monitors written in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Advise and support internal clients and cross?functional teams in implementing testing and monitoring requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance testing, monitoring standards, tools, and processe

• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to requirements analysis.
• Ability to independently design and implement automated tests using Playwright (Java, TypeScript).
• Ability to independently design and implement performance tests using Grafana k6 (JavaScript).
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitLab.
• Solid understanding of system architectures, APIs, networks, and performance metrics.
• Experience monitoring and interpreting performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and resource usage.
• Hands?on experience with monitoring tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and Dynatrace.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable technical field (HF/FH/University).
• Several years of experience in performance testing, test automation, or software engineering.
• Experience with test execution via Exense Step is an advantage.
• Experience working with internal clients and cross?functional teams.
• Experience in an enterprise or banking/financial environment is an advantage.
