Senior IT Service Owner & Application Responsible (A)

Tasks

• Ensure stable applications and services, including incident and problem management, for Financial Information Services (Financial Information Sheet FIS) covering Bloomberg, LSEG, Reuters, MarketMap, and FIS Global
• Manage day to day IT service operations according to agreed SLAs and OLAs
• Monitor and analyse IT services, identify improvement opportunities, and implement efficiency and quality enhancements
• Conduct business analysis, create solution designs, and support development, testing, and implementation of fixes (Run the Bank) and changes (Change the Bank), together with vendors or software providers
• Install and configure hardware and software and ensure proper application lifecycle management

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience as a Senior IT Service Owner or Application Responsible
• Solid understanding of IT governance, budgeting, resource planning, and strategic risk management
• Experience performing or approving analysis and design prior to development
• Ability to lead or contribute to development, testing, and deployment activities following standards and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Unix and Windows Server environments
• Knowledge of database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency in application support and lifecycle processes
• Advocate for and experienced with agile methodologies and tools

• Strong analytical and organisational skills
• High degree of ownership, accountability, and independent working style
• Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
• Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills across diverse groups
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
