Application Engineer (A)

Tasks

• Analyse and re-wire applications of the Integration Layer due to the replacement of the operational core banking system
• Understand data flows within the Integration Layer and, together with affected consumer applications, specify, implement, and test required changes
• For applications where the Integration Layer contains business logic, specify, implement, and test necessary functionality based on data from the new system of record and the needs of the consuming application
• Implement import and export functions as well as workflow steps

• Experience in ORACLE PL/SQL development
• Strong knowledge of Oracle databases
• Ability to understand complex requirements and compartmentalize for simplicity
• Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter
• Experience in Informatica PowerCenter upgrade migration
• Experience working on Informatica IDMC
• Experience with Dataiku Data Science Studio (DSS) in a professional environment
• Good banking knowhow, especially in understanding complex implementations and re-wiring business logic with new data sources
• Fluent English skills
