Tasks
- Analyze existing VBA scripts and Microsoft Access modules to understand business logic, data flows, and dependencies
- Document current processes and controls related to shareholder monitoring, including data sources, tools, and reports (before and after migration to Dataiku)
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Product Control, Market Risk, Legal, Compliance, IT) to gather requirements for transitioning the monitoring solution to Dataiku
- Create detailed functional requirement documentation outlining how the solution will meet business needs
- Support the current tool owner in the migration process from VBA/Access DB logic to Dataiku
- Participate in design sessions with SMEs and IT to configure the solution and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Rebuild core functionalities from Access databases into maintainable Python scripts within Dataiku
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics), preferably from a university of applied sciences or an equivalent institution
- At least two years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable analytical role
- Strong hands-on expertise in working with data and relevant tools, including:
- Dataiku for data preparation and analysis
- Python for automation and data processing
- VBA / Microsoft Access for developing and maintaining database solutions
- SQL for querying and managing databases
- Proficiency in code debugging and data exploration
- Experience in project management or business analysis within the financial services sector
- Solid understanding of non-financial risk, compliance, risk management, and legal topics
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are considered an asset
- Strong analytical and structured thinking.
