Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate financial monitoring of the Run-the-Bank business, including operating income, operating expenses (OPEX) and real estate
- Manage and coordinate financial planning processes, particularly budgeting and forecasting, in line with business objectives
- Monitor and manage internal and external FTE capacities, including the handling of internalisation requests and ensuring proper documentation
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and support strategic initiatives within the operational business
- Support and coordinate global banking initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and enhancing the product and service offering
- Independently analyse complex business issues and special topics within the COO area
- Coordinate and lead, or support, strategic projects and key initiatives within COO CHEEMA
- Coordinate and oversee the annual Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the COO strategy and monitor the execution of defined measures
- Support strategic management activities, particularly in the areas of cost and revenue management as well as process optimisation
- Take responsibility for cultural and employee-related initiatives
- Prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses to support management decision-making
- Support Senior Management with organisational, communication and reporting-related matters, including the preparation of internal and external management presentations
- Work closely with Senior Management and act as a sparring partner on strategic topics and projects
- Coordinate and collaborate with various internal departments, including COO, Risk Management, Finance, HR, Communications and the CEO Office
- University degree or higher education in Business Administration or a comparable qualification
- Solid professional experience in the financial services industry or in consulting for financial services organisations
- Experience in project management and in coordinating and managing complex initiatives
- Proven experience working with different business functions and Senior Management
- Strong analytical, conceptual, organisational and communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and audience-appropriate manner
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working approach, even in complex and demanding environments
- Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
- Ability to operate effectively at both operational and strategic levels
- High level of initiative, motivation and independence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with different stakeholders and Senior Management
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and results orientation
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple topics and priorities simultaneously
