SAP Ariba Consultant / SAP Ariba Solution Specialist (A)

Tasks

• Configure and implement the SAP Ariba upstream modules, including Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Sourcing, and Contracts, in line with business requirements and global process designs
• Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable SAP Ariba system configurations, including workflows, approval processes, status models, qualification logic, and business rules
• Build and maintain the foundational SAP Ariba platform configuration to support procurement transformation initiatives
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA by collaborating closely with the SAP integration team
• Define and implement governance frameworks for supplier onboarding, master data management, and ongoing system updates
• Support procurement and business stakeholders throughout the transformation by driving process alignment, user adoption, and best practices
• Document configuration standards and ensure a consistent, scalable, and maintainable solution
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP Ariba Upstream, supporting project teams and cross-functional stakeholders
• Collaborate with international stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, HR, Legal, IT, Outsourcing, and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM)

• Proven hands-on experience configuring SAP Ariba Upstream, including Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Sourcing, and Contracts
• Strong expertise in configuring workflows, approval processes, business rules, qualification logic, and data models
• Experience delivering Greenfield SAP Ariba implementations and building solutions from the ground up
• Solid understanding of SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA integration concepts, including data mapping, integration flows, and orchestration
• Experience working on large-scale Source-to-Pay (S2P) or Procurement Transformation programs
• Good understanding of supplier, sourcing, and contract data structures as well as governance and compliance requirements
• SAP Ariba certification in at least one upstream module; multiple certifications are highly desirable
• SAP Ariba Integration Certification, SAP S/4HANA certification, or equivalent integration experience is an advantage
• Relevant process or transformation certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN) are desirable
• Fluent English, both written and spoken
