Compliance Onboarding Officer (A)
We are seeking a Compliance Onboarding Officer to support our customer, a leading financial institution in Zurich, in conducting high-risk client onboarding reviews and assessing Know Your Customer (KYC) and Financial Crime risks. In this role, you will review complex client relationships, particularly within Emerging Markets with a focus on MEA and NRI, assess cross-unit relationships between advisory teams, booking centers, and clients, and prepare concise written assessments to support compliant onboarding decisions and adherence to regulatory requirements

Tasks
- Perform high-risk client onboarding reviews, including detailed assessments of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Financial Crime risks
- Review and assess client relationships within Emerging Markets, with a focus on MEA and NRI
- Evaluate cross-unit relationships between advisory teams, booking centers, and clients
- Prepare concise written assessments related to onboarding and compliance reviews
- Substantial onboarding experience, particularly in high-risk client onboarding reviews
- Strong experience within Emerging Markets, especially MEA and NRI
- Good knowledge of cross-unit relationships between advisory teams, booking centers, and clients
- Additional AML/KYC-related training is beneficial
- Proficiency in writing concise assessments
- Fluency in English and German
- Very good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
