Data Engineer / Platform Engineer Enterprise Data Lake (A)

Tasks:

• Preparation and support of datasets and data pipelines for business use, including troubleshooting
• Development of XML-based ingestion pipelines into the Data Platform using Hive and S3
• Implementation of schemaless data ingestion using IBM MQ native integration

• Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies and open-source components such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Trino, Airflow/NiFi, MinIO, Kubernetes, and Kafka
• Expert-level SQL skills, ideally in both traditional data warehouse and distributed environments
• Solid understanding of banking data products and the financial sector
• Strong knowledge of financial data classification and sensitivity
• Expert-level experience in metadata management and related tools
• Deep understanding of data modeling standards, processes, and tools (e.g., cleansing, metadata)

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
• Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented attitude and a high level of accountability
